- No amounts. Likely cheapest only ranks options. Confirm with the operator.
- Is it free / a ticket shop?
- It is not a ticket seller or wallet. The public site is free information. The Android app has no Play Store listing yet.
- How do I delete an account?
- In the app: Settings → Delete account. Or write to AUMLayer with “Privacy request”.
1. Who it is for
People who already move through Bengaluru on buses and Metro, and who want a plan that keeps a useful direct bus visible instead of hiding it behind a slightly faster multi-hop. The interface is in English and Kannada.
Sarathi is built as a consumer Android product. Account creation is intended for people aged 18 or older. A younger traveller should use it with a parent or guardian.
2. What Sarathi is not
- Not an official BMTC, BMRCL, Indian Railways or government service.
- Not a ticket seller, payment wallet or reserved-seat booking tool.
- Not an emergency channel. Use operator staff or local emergency services for urgent safety issues.
- Not a live-arrival product until Bengaluru publishes a fresh, authorised realtime feed that Sarathi can actually connect.
3. Data we use
Journey plans are calculated from published transit datasets (including BMTC route patterns and a provisional BMRCL / Namma Metro station set), walking access, and — when you search a place — optional third-party map and place services. Attribution for those map services appears in the app.
Times are labelled Scheduled, Typical, Cached, Live or Unavailable. See the data labels page and the usage guide.
The public website itself does not set advertising cookies. Product analytics inside the Android app can be turned off in Settings.
